Email Encryption Iron Bubble for Data Protection
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009I have spoken in previous blog articles about enabling your credit union and have referenced sections of the IS&T guidelines as well as FFIEC where email encryption is mentioned as a must have. You can reference this earlier post if you would like to learn more. The major issue here is that some third parties including core processor and home banking providers have their own encryption solutions that secure communication between you and them. However, what I am referring to here is not one off email encryption, but having a protective bubble that wraps ALL digital communication that leaves the credit union. I also love this service because of the Cloud Based Identity Management. The concept of managing encryption keys in the Cloud is critical and the “In the Cloud” services model is where the industry is going. In the Webinar I will be asking questions to Zix about this key encryption model and how they secure it. Enjoy my previous article on this topic and if you have questions please let me know. I am personally vetting the presentation. It will be informative and you will be happy you attended. Register by clicking here.
